Minister Melissa A. Richardson, MBA

Minister Melissa Richardson is a Christian of many years. Based on her own life experiences of pain and joy, as well as her observation of people from diverse places in life, she understands all too well that wounds to the soul do not have to render us powerless. As a woman of wisdom, she is an effective teacher/speaker, Lay Christian Counselor and Certified Professional Life Coach.  She uses these gifts, along with her life experiences, and education to help others understand that they too can be empowered by a Holy God to overcome internal and external barriers to life.

She is an ordained Minister of the Gospel, and the founder of Solace 2 You Ministries, a non-denominational, not for-profit Christian ministry.  Solace 2 You is dedicated to inspiring people who seek spiritual and practical guidance on how to restore inner peace after experiencing life wounds to the soul.  The ministry believes that inner restoration is foundational to improving one’s life emotionally, spiritually, economically and relationally.

Minister Richardson is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the International Congress of Churches and Ministries and the International Coaching Federation. She possesses a BS and MBA degrees.  In addition, Minister Richardson allows her life to be transparent to seasoned men and women of character and faith who holds her accountable.

On December 1, 2012, Minister Richardson launched the Inner Life Christian Church. This new non-denominational Christian church is currently holding Sunday services and bible study in Largo, Maryland.  Inner Life is a bible teaching church that executes its vision in practical ways under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  Minister Melissa believes in sound biblical teaching in the spirit of grace, love and truth to meet people where they are, just as Jesus Christ illustrated during His earthly ministry.

During her professional vocation, Minister Richardson served as a senior level acquisition professional with the federal government. Minister Richardson is also the President and Founder of Search and Soar, LLC, a soon to be released professional and administrative support service business that specializes in federal contracting, offering staff training, policy development and full service contract management. 

Minister Richardson is married. She and her husband, who proudly supports her call to Christian ministry, are the parents of three adult children and four grandchildren.
